Sorry folks..this isn’t a quickie infomercial. It’s real life.
Believe me, if there was a magic solution, pill or potion to make things happen quickly, I would have been the first one dialing 1-800-magic!
The truth is if you want to do anything for real and make it last, to truly TRANSFORM yourself or something in your life, you have to take it one step at a time.
We want to lose weight, have an uncluttered closet, move away and start all over. We want it now.
Sometimes I feel like I think about being thinner so much that I surely should be willing myself to fit into my smaller clothes.
Wait! What? How come I still can’t fit into those shorts. Oh…you mean I actually have to get off the couch and move and say what..eat less? That’s ridiculous! I watched that yoga video this morning..what’s the deal?

Change can be as easy as “1 – 2 -3” but you have to start – take action – ANY action. You have to show up! Once you take that first step whether it is getting rid of the junk food in your house, cutting down the McD’s drive-thru to twice a week instead of every day or making sure you eat one piece of fruit with your lunch, you start to build momentum, confidence and see results. They might be small results at first but over time (yes, I said time…change takes time..that evil four-letter word) those small changes add up and build on each other and before you know it, you CAN fit into those smaller shorts and you have a little more energy and you feel like a success and you keep going.
As crazy as it may seem, WE are in charge of our own lives, destiny and transformation.
We just need to connect the dots between where we are and what we want to be. Then take action.
WE have to do it! There’s no magic potion. We can’t wiggle our noses like “Bewitched” or cross our arms and bop our head like “I Dream of Jeannie” (you know I had to get a TV reference in there).
I have an assignment for you…if you choose to accept it.
